Well, of course, it's been ages since my last post. So I've been keeping busy this summer, working mostly. And with hymnsings, and Tamarack planning, and young people's, and driving school. Boy, it doesn't sound like a whole lot but when you're actually doing all these things it can get pretty crazy.
So not a whole lot's happened since my last post. Probably why I haven't posted in awhile. I'm sure I said this already but Mike and Theresa got married on March 10, Jesse turned 1 on March 5, Anjali is now just over 6 months old, we went family camping as usual on the first weekend in August, my birthday (July 12), my profession (June 17), Melissa's birthday, Brad's birthday, Theresa's birthday, mother's day, father's day. We're actually thinking of taking a trip to the states for a weekend. Not sure if that's gonna happen yet, but it's definitely in the works. Tamarack is only about 10 days away.... AHH! It's crazy, I can't believe it! But it's definitely going to be a good year. Our three speakers are Rev. Anema, Rev. Greg Bylsma, and Dr. Pipa. Our chaps this year are the DeVissers, Stewarts, Vandyks, Schouwstras and the DOUMAS! lol My parents are chaperoning this year! Things are coming along, at a slow pace, but they're still coming along. Which reminds me, I need to email my co-cabin leader... *Mental note* (well I guess it's not just a mental note now is it?) So I'm going to try and post some more pictures. either on here or on Facebook. Most likely the latter! So anyways, I've gotta get going to another Tamarack planning meeting! I'll try and update the next time much sooner!

New post
So, I haven't really been keeping up with my blog. The problem is... I don't take enough pictures... I should change that. Anyways, this past weekend was the Wellandport conference and it was great, as usual! Even though it took us 3 hours to get there!!! If it wasn't for the snow and then 4 snowplows blocking the entire skyway, it would have taken less then an hour and a half. But oh well, it was worth it in the end! Rev. VanOlst spoke, and unfortunately we only really got to hear his speech the on Saturday morning, called "Are you ready?" It was great! Afterwards, of course was the annual ball hockey tournament which I was so excited for! Our team ended up losing our first two games and winning our last one, but my brother Brad's team won their first two games, and were winning their last game, but then it ended up going to shootouts, then sudden death! They ended up going through all the players on both teams and then had to call the players out again! Even though Brad's team ending up losing in shootouts they still played a great game! Tonight we had coffeehouse at Rev. and Mrs Anjema's house and we had a blast! My sister and her husband and of course little Anjali who I got to hold for a long long time, were there, but we also played this hilarious game! Basically, you were given someone's name and then you had to draw a picture of them, and then underneath, write a verse, or something encouraging or a character trait that you admire about them. Then we showed them around and you had to try and guess who the picture of the person was, and then the person who drew the picture would make a comment about the encouragement that they wrote. Some of the pictures were hilarious!!! They were sooo funny!!! Everyone almost died laughing at a couple of the pictures! It was some great good ol' fashioned fun!
So here's actually a few more pictures of my niece, she'll be five weeks on Tuesday, and has grown quite so much!

Nothing too exciting
Ok so here goes another post,
So nothing new has really happened since i last posted. Just a whole lot of work and school. I'm actually enjoying work much more then before, first because I'm getting way more hours then other part time people, since I'm available during the day (I have a few night classes freeing me up for day shifts) . I cut my hair! that's new. It's layered at my shoulders. yup. Like i said.. nothing too exciting. I'm really looking forward to Christmas this year, I don't know why so much this year and not other years. lol Our young people's goes to an old age nursing home every Sunday after church and we sing to the people there and someone gives a short little message, and while someone's giving the message a few of us leave the room and go visit a lady who can't make it to the room but enjoys us singing for her. So, I was so excited about Christmas time that I said we should start singing Christmas songs! Now, we only sang one last week, and two yesterday for a total of three. (yay i can do math lol Beth!) And the other people who are usually there said that I had made them sing like 10!!! which is totally not true lol. I can't help I like Christmas songs! It brings back memories! Hm what else, Robin and Jackie came into work on Saturday. I was telling my coworkers that that was my sister, they asked "your real sister or your cousin?" i was like "of course my real sister!" They thought Robin was her boyfriend til i said they were married and, (If you don't know already, 98% of the people i work with are East Indian) and a couple of them thought Robin was "very handsome". lol I think they were really surprised that he was my brother in law. It was great having a familiar face come into work! But the shift on Saturday was so busy! I was basically doing two jobs at once, which the one is hard enough as it is, taking order, making drinks, getting fries, and bagging all the items. (sometimes people order a ton of food!) and handing out orders. usually we have 3 people doing that since we're supposed to go as fast as possible. On top of all that I was helping on front, doing drinks, taking a few orders, what they calling "running" basically putting the orders together while the other one takes orders. So it was a crazy shift. Although it doesn't seem like a lot of work. It is when you're doing it all at once, under the pressure of a timer! lol I was also sick this week, I was supposed to have my singing class midterm, but i lost my voice and was unable to speak or sing. So i went the to walk in clinic, got some medication, finished it and i'm still not totally better. Oh well, I'm feeling much better then i was. Hm, I know my life is boring. I have nothing exciting to talk about except work, and being sick! How sad is that? lol OH! My and my sister and my sister in law and my mom went over the border to go shopping! We found so many deals! It was a great day and i can't wait to do it again! My nephew jesse is growing so fast! He has two teeth, he's standing (leaning against stuff but still) even starting to walk a little. He was going back and forth between Theresa and Melissa, a couple times he was balanced and took a few steps. But would always topple over with Theresa or Melissa ready to catch him. He'll be walking in no time! lol doug showed him how to make indian sounds. he figured it out pretty quick, so if you put your fingers in front of his mouth and move them back in forth really quick he'll say ahhhh and it'll sound like an indian! lol it's soo cute! I can't believe how fast he's learning, he's not even nine months old! lol and I can't wait for Jackie to have her baby! Only about 10 and a half weeks left til she's due! I can't wait! And Mike and Theresa's wedding is fast approaching as well! that'll be a blast too! But that's all i can think of. as i said, nothing too new or exciting. :D

So, this is my first blog post ever, i've always said i never wanted a blog, but i thought i may as well try it out, see if i like it. i mean i have basically the same thing on msn space anyways.. so here's the post i just wrote on my msn space:
So, I haven't written since just after Tamarack, and I figure it's about time I do. So, since Tamarack there's not too much that's happened. Port Burwell was great, there was the thanksgiving day festivities which were also great. I started school. So far it's going good. I've got 5 classes in total. No labs, no tutorials, nothing. It's great. So I have Micro-Economics on Monday from 7pm-10pm, Macro-Economics on Tuesday from 7pm-10pm, a music class, Singing for Non-Majors from 1pm-2:30pm and a humanities, "The Roots of Western Culture: The Middle Ages to the Renaissance (circa 400-1600 AD)" to be exact from 7pm-10pm on Wednesdays, and an Intro to Administrative Studies from 11:30am-2:30pm on Fridays. So that's keeping me pretty busy. I'm actually only in class for like 13-14 hours a week! I'm at work more than that! I work Mondays from 11:30-4, Tuesdays 11:30-4, Thursdays 11:30-5:30 and Saturdays at various times, lately 4-12. That's 22 hours of work, and 1 hour of break a week! It's awesome! I'm loving it... I think I'm actually get more hours then most of the part-time people because I'm available during some weekdays. It's working out really well. Work can be... boring at times, especially on an 8 hour shift on a Saturday... hardly anyone comes through the drive thru and it's only busy for supper on front! It's soooo boring, but hey! I'm getting paid for it and I get to take home free food so that's a plus! Anyways, enough about the boring stuff... Jesse's getting some teeth, last I heard, he has 3 starting to pop out! So that's cool! Mom, Jackie, Melissa, Jesse and I are gonna go over the border in a couple weeks to go what Brad calls "fat shopping" lol. Which is going shopping for my pregnant sister Jackie, and for some baby clothes for Jesse and the new baby! So that's gonna be a blast too! Can't wait for it! Hmm... what else... not a whole lot else is going on, I think mom and dad are gonna go down for the heritage bazaar so i might go too... who knows? i'm trying to rack my brain of what else is happening but nothing's coming to mind... OH!! BANCROFT! how could i forget that! Well, the weekend after thanksgiving, our youth group (Brad, me, Charlene, Louise, Joyce, Steve, Andrew, Ben, Josh, Zi Jin, Johnny, Matt) and some of those who helped out at tamarack (Jason, Dan, Sarah, Beth, Kevin) all went up north to the Stel's, (with the stel's as chaps) cottage for the weekend! What a blast! what a surprise it was when we were driving the 3 hours to get there and we realized, it was snowing. when we got there and for most of the weekend, it was quite snowy and cold, but it was still so much fun. We did a lot of hiking, drank tons of hot chocolate and just had a good time in fellowship and games. What an amazing weekend, filled with new friends, fun, laughter and well who could forget the encouragement letters! On both friday and saturday, we had to write these encouragement letters to someone, it was of course anonymous, which i was glad it was. so we picked names for that. My letters were great, and i've read them a few times since the cottage, what an amazing encouragement they are to me when i need it. what else happened that weekend.. hm.. well some of us played horseshoes, and soccer, and bocce ball, and i'm sure other games too. i was looking forward to volleyball but we never did end up playing. but we did go out for a late night walk and what did brad of course bring! GLOWSTICKS!!! lol that was awesome too, i got to share a room with charlene and had a great time staying up with her and having a great conversation... too bad we didn't get more of those! lol i really do enjoy good heart to hearts with people. Anyways, I don't think anything else new has happened.. not that i can think of... so i must stop writing as it is quite late and i do have work tomorrow, so it's time for me to sleep! yay!
